Spiritually Speaking
The physical body is only one aspect of a truly magnificent life. We are all three-part beings: Mind, Body and Spirit. There must be a balance between all three, for each play a role within the whole and the whole must be integrated with the one creative force in the universe that resides in us all. It is through the connectedness to the oneness in the universe one can expect to achieve true happiness, true success and true balance within themselves and the world around them.
For this reason, it is important that you include in any wellness program time to work on Mind and Spirit. The universal mind blessed us with these walking miracles (our bodies) that do so much for us and require so little to maintain. Yet, it is one of the first things we neglect when our lives get busy, the stress piles up and we are just too tired. We can honor our human experience by taking the best possible care of this vessel we call our own. However, spirituality and mental awareness are practiced within. Try including yoga and meditation in your wellness program. Take time each day to be still and silent. To just “be”. You’ll be amazed at how busy your mind keeps you over nothing.
